Hafslund Nett owns and operates the power grid in 40 communes

The grid owner’s responsibility is to transport the power you buy from your power supplier to your residence or office building.

If you live in one of the 40 communes listed below, the power grid owned and operated by Hafslund Nett. Grid rental is monopolized since it wouldn’t be socio-economically responsible to build more than one grid in the same area. The company who is operating the grid is licensed by NVE (The Norwegian Water  Resources and Energy Directorate).

Hafslund Nett transports electric power in 40 communes in three counties; Oslo, Akershus and Østfold.

In these communes Hafslund Nett transports the electris power to all consumers.
 

Power supplied all the way to the local grid owner's distribution grid

In these communes Hafslund Nett is repsonsible of the regional grid and some of the biggest consumers. This means thar Hafslund Nett deliver electric power to the local grid owner companies, and then the local companies distribute the power to the consumers in the area.
